The BioInspired Institute aspires to train well-rounded, polished, career-ready scientists and engineers who will stand out in the job market. Any graduate student or postdoc affiliated with the BioInspired Institute and any undergraduates affiliated with the BioInspired Institute who wish to participate in professional development opportunities and receive a badge can attend. Badges are a way to show you have completed a sequence of workshops that focus on a particular set of skills. These include series in project management, oral communication and presentation, graphic and figure design, data management, research ethics, career and professional preparedness, and research and scholarly communications. Earned badges are available indefinitely via a secure, digital credential, and they may be posted onto your LinkedIn profile in a few easy steps!
